About me
I work as a research assistant in the research group Global Disaster Medicine – Health Needs and Response. My responsibilities include working on scientific publications among other things.
Prior to joining this group, I worked as a trainee in Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG-ECHO) in Unit C1 - Humanitarian Aid Thematic Policies. My responsibities in DG- ECHO included working closely with field and thematic experts and strategic partners on various health policy issues including NCDs, disability inclusion, climate change and its effects, epidemics, immunization, SRH, GBV, MHPSS and humanitarian procurement and related challenges.
I have also worked as summer research intern under Jens Jensen at St Goran's Hospital where I worked on a cardiology research project.
