About me

  • I am an affiliated researcher at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition, Karolinska Institutet. My past and current research revolves around exploring relationships between food systems, the environment and health mainly through optimisation analyses and intervention research. I am currently funded by the Swedish Research Council to carry out an international postdoc with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Here, I am mainly leading a project which includes the development of agent-based models to simulate dietary behaviours under the influence of different national policy measures. The project also includes the implementation of models to quantify the human- and environmental health impacts from shifts towards plant-based diets on a population level. Besides that, I am a visiting researcher at the MRC Unit in Cambridge where I collaborate on research linked to eating behaviours, as well as support non-governmental organisations in analyses relating to school meal optimisations, health impact modelling and more.

  • I teach in, and organise, the module "Fundamentals to Climate Change and Planetary Health" at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
