Patricia Eustachio Colombo

I am an affiliated researcher at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition, Karolinska Institutet. My past and current research revolves around exploring relationships between food systems, the environment and health mainly through optimisation analyses and intervention research. I've led projects employing agent-based models to simulate dietary behaviours under the influence of different national policy measures, as well as those applying models to quantify the human- and environmental health impacts from shifts towards plant-based diets. Besides that, I am an honorary researcher at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a visiting researcher at the MRC Unit in Cambridge where I collaborate on research linked to eating behaviours. I also support non-governmental organisations in analyses relating to school meal optimisations, health impact modelling and more.

I teach in the module "Methods in Climate Change and Planetary Health" at the London School of Hygiene &Tropical Medicine.
