About me
I am a resident physician in general practice at Bodafors Primary Health Care Centre in Region Jönköping County, as well as a PhD student at Linköping University, Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences. I am affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, attached to the Department of Women's and Children's Health, where I collaborate on research concerning normal physiology in healthy children during puberty. My research focuses on physical activity measurement, physical self-esteem, sleep tracking, and strength training in children.
Research
We previously conducted a randomized controlled trial (RCT) study investigating the effects of strength training in children, with the intervention carried out in Eksjö. Currently, we have an ongoing prospective study in Stockholm following pre- and intra-pubertal children over a 5-year period, measuring physical self-esteem, physical activity, muscle size, muscle strength, and cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2max).
