About me

  • Michalis is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Physiology at the Karolinska Institute, and Docent of Environmental Physiology at the Royal Institute of Technology. Michalis' research is focused on the independent and interactive effects of environmental factors (i.e. high and low: gravitoinertial (G) loads, ambient pressure, and temperature) on physiological responses in humans, with special reference to thermoregulatory, cardiorespiratory, muscular and vestibular functions.
