Mélodie Ferrat
About me
I obtained my PhD in 2021 from Karolinska Institutet, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, where I specialized in carbon-11 radiochemistry.
With several years of experience as a radiochemist, I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the TRANslational Theranostic Group at Karolinska Institutet. My ongoing research focuses on the project titled "New PET-imaging tool for MTHFD2 protein expression: assessment of diagnostic and treatment potential for colorectal and pancreatic cancers."
Driven by a deep passion for chemistry, I thrive in working with radioactivity to advance both medical imaging and therapeutic applications. My expertise plays a crucial role in translating laboratory discoveries into tangible clinical solutions, all with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.
