In my current work, I focus on gathering adaptation strategies to climate extremes through a Delphi study, study the impacts of climate extremes on risk perception and subjective well-being, and focus on potentially vulnerable conditions in relation to climate extremes, such as during pregnancy. All the results of my work can inform further research while they have high policy relevance, as societies need to adapt to more frequently occurring climate extremes to protect populations from negative climate impacts.

Currently, we are in the process of expert recruitment for the Delphi study on climate adaptation, which can provide valuable information on adaptation approaches on a global scale. This information can be used from a variety of people and sectors besides the academic field, reaching from politicians to practitioners.
