Manuel Oliva

I am a postdoctoral researcher investigating social cognition and perception in autism and synesthesia. My work focuses on visual search, perceptual inference from a Bayesian perspective, and social cognition. As part of my postdoc, I have also gained experience in programming and designing tasks for fMRI studies.

My research interests span visual selective attention and emotion recognition, with a particular focus on eye movements and pupil size as indicators of cognitive and affective processing.
