Magnus Aspdahl

I am a licensed pediatric physiotherapist specializing point-of-care diagnostics. Currently, I am a PhD student at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institute, under the supervision of Associate Professor Ferdinand von Walden. My doctoral research focus is centered on musculoskeletal ultrasound method development and spinal muscular atrophy. Prior to establishing this doctoral track, my primary research focus and clinical investigatorships have been in haemophilia. Over the past decade at Astrid Lindgren’s Children’s Hospital, I have balanced active clinical practice with international collaborative clinical research, contributing to international consensus metrics, validating the Haemophilia Joint Health Score (HJHS), and standardizing pediatric care structures.
