Madeleine Nguyen Hoang

I am a licensed physician at Karolinska University Hospital. After completing my master's thesis on postoperative complications following plastic reconstruction for sarcoma, I have continued my research at the intersection of plastic surgery and orthopaedics.

 

My research profile centers on sarcoma surgery at both national and global levels in collaboration with the Stockholm Sarcoma Centre. The overarching aim of my doctoral thesis is to evaluate key aspects of sarcoma management by assessing surgical techniques, perioperative care, and related health-economic outcomes in western as well as sub-Saharan settings.
