Research
My research focuses on Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) in children. I am particularly interested in how healthcare services and preschool/school settings identify and meet these children's needs for intervention and support. I completed my PhD at Linköping University in 2025 with the dissertation Preschool Children with Speech and Language Disorders: Everyday Communication and Speech-Language Pathology Services in Sweden. In my doctoral work, I examined, among other things, how video recordings of children’s everyday communication can be used as a complement to regular speech-language pathology intervention for preschool children with DLD.
