About me
- Early-stage researcher within the European funded INITIATE training network.
PhD student at AstraZeneca in a collaboration with the KI.
Working on innate lymphoid cells and lipid mediators.
Young scientist dedicated to the field of immunology.
Part of the European INITIATE training network, with the mission to drive the
emerging field of antiviral immunometabolism and educates young researchers
in an interdisciplinary and intersectoral fashion at the interface between
academia and industry.
Hungry for knowledge, I want to develop as a scientist and learn as much as
possible.
*KI affiliate waiting for the admission as a doctoral student.*
About to relocate to Stockholm.
B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology at the Technical University Berlin
(Germany).
After my bachelor's thesis in tissue-engineering, working on a fully perfused
3d model of the human hematopoietic stem cell niche, I dedicated my further
education to immunology.
This culminated in my master's thesis at the German Rheumatism Research
Center in Berlin, which covered the selective expression of a specific gene
in T helper subsets.
Research
- My doctoral project covers type 2 ILCs and their functional and phenotypic
response to changes in their microenvironment (e.g. via inflammation and
viral infection). A special focus here will be on the role of lipid
mediators.
Teaching
- No current teaching activities.
Former academic tutor (2 years) at the faculty of Medical Biotechnology at
the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
