Lisa Kogner

About me

I am a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Karolinska University Hospital, and a PhD student at the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet. My doctoral project focuses on assisted reproduction and the association with adverse maternal, neonatal and offspring outcomes. Through epidemiological studies that integrate several Swedish health and population registers, we aim to explore if the risks following in-vitro fertilisation(IVF) differ between women in same-sex relationships, compared to those in different-sex relationships. The purpose of my PhD project is both to study the reproductive health of women in same-sex relationships, and also to gain insights into the causes behind effects of IVF treatment and infertility.
