About me
I am a PhD student at the Department of Global Public Health in Karolinska Institutet and a Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Guangdong Provincial hospital of Chinese Medicine in Southern China. My PhD project aims to understand the use of pediatric Tuina(massage) in preventing children’s recurrent respiratory tract infections among young children in Southern China. This project contains four sub-studies-one quantitative study and three qualitative studies. The quantitative one is an retrospective cohort study based on the medical records and is designed to explore the association of pediatric Tuina and the number of respiratory tract infections among young children who were sick repeatedly.
