About me
During my PhD studies in Professor Joakim Lundeberg's lab, I developed and applied spatial transcriptomics methods to characterize cellular landscapes in tissues, with a focus on pediatric brain tumors. As a postdoc in Professor Tuuli Lappalainen's lab, I became interested in genome-wide population differences and their impact on complex human diseases. There, I developed a computational algorithm for performing spatial trait enrichment analysis with permutation testing.
I am also a mental health advocate and co-founded the Coaching in Science Initiative (CSI) at SciLifeLab. Our vision is that "Well-being and mental health skills are human rights & of monumental importance to scientific excellence."
