About me
Medical doctor and PhD student interested in mental health (especially addictions), critical epidemiology and social determination of health. My PhD project is about psychiatric epidemiology and alcohol use in Uganda, using data from a population cohort run by the Ugandan NGO Africa Medical and Behavioural Sciences Organization (AMBSO). Main supervisor professor Anna Mia Ekström. Besides doing research, I work on-call duties as a junior doctor at the Stockholm Centre for Dependency Disorders.
Other research projects include:
* Collaborations between traditional/faith healers and psychiatric services to improve care for people with severe mental illness in Uganda
