About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet, where I collaborate with the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), a global network of academic and industry partners that aims to accelerate drug discovery through open science. For the past year, I have been generating proteins and antibodies to human targets, funded by the EUbOPEN project, which provides novel chemical tools for the exploration of the human proteome.
With over eight years of postdoctoral experience and a PhD in Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Manchester, I have developed a strong expertise in protein biochemistry, cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM), and membrane proteins. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to advance biomedical research and innovation, and to contribute to the development of new therapies for unmet medical needs. My goal is to leverage the power of open science and collaborative networks to enhance the understanding of human biology and disease mechanisms.
