About me
My research focuses on reducing surgical site infections in Ethiopia, specifically targeting "Bellwether" procedures such as caesarean sections and open limb fractures. This multimethod project evaluates long-term patient outcomes, antimicrobial resistance patterns, and the cost-effectiveness of context-adapted infection prevention and control bundles. The goal is to generate robust evidence to improve surgical safety and strengthen health systems in resource-limited settings.
