About me

  • I am an Emergency Physician at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö and a PhD student with the No accidents team, part of the Health Systems and Policy research group at the Department of Global Public Health at KI.

Research

  • My research focuses on health systems in relation to emergency care, particularly on quality improvement interventions. My PhD work investigates whether the implementation of a trauma quality improvement program has improved patient outcomes in urban India, and aims to better understand the mechanisms through which these programs may enhance care. Additionally, I work on related topics that use data-driven approaches to support quality improvement, such as identifying patients with unexpected outcomes and finding ways to better categorize subgroups of patients based on injury patterns. I also work with projects related to disaster management - particularly understanding events that strain the emergency care chain.
