Jeanette Norman

I am a dental hygienist and doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet, where I combine research with clinical work in specialized pediatric dentistry. In my clinical practice, I work with children and adolescents with various medical conditions, rare syndromes, and disabilities. My research, under the main supervision of Professor Nagihan Bostanci, focuses on the bidirectional relationship between oral health and type 1 diabetes in children and adolescents. I hold a Master’s degree in Oral Health, and my thesis explored collaboration with child health services to promote general and oral health in young children
