About me
As an IT Specialist and Product Owner at Karolinska Institutet and SciLifeLab, I specialize in the operational coordination and technical management of complex digital health initiatives. My primary focus is on data science and AI initiatives such as the Precision Medicine Portal as well as TEF-Health (Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics), an EU-funded initiative where I help drive the Swedish node in collaboration with RISE.
Research
- Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Validating and operationalizing machine learning models for clinical decision support, with a focus on benchmarking through the TEF-Health framework.
- Precision Medicine: Building the underlying digital infrastructure necessary to translate complex biological data into targeted patient care.
- Multimodal Data Integration: Exploring methodologies to safely harmonize and analyze disparate data streams by combining imaging, genomics, and electronic health records (EHR) for more holistic health insights.
- Data Security & Privacy: Developing robust, compliant and secure environments for healthtech innovation such as Trusted Research Environments, ensuring AI systems adhere to medical data regulations (e.g., EHDS, AI Act).
