About me
Hang Zeng, finished his PhD training at Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tübingen, Germany. His PhD works were mainly focus on developing MR compatible optical imaging devices for brain dynamic signal recordings, as well as designing and establishing awake rodent model for functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). He is now a postdoc researcher at Karolinska Institutet.
Research
- Investigating the molecular connections of neuronal circuit reactions in the conscious brain.
- Photonmery recordings of the brain signal, e.g., Ca2+, Glutamate, K+, and other neuromodulators.
- Opto-/Chemo- modifications at the molecular level to underpin the cognitive processing, e.g., learning and memory.
Employments
- Postdoctoral researcher, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, Karolinska Institutet, 2024-2026
