About me

  • I am a Pharmacovigilance professional pursuing my Ph.D. in Health Systems and Policy in the Department of Global Public Health. Before starting my studies here, I was a lecturer in Healthcare Management at Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, I worked as a hospital pharmacist at Alexandria Fever Hospital, Egypt.

     

  • In 2024, I was elected as a board member of the Doctoral Students Association (DSA) and appointed as a student representative on the steering group for the Doctoral Programme in Public Health Sciences.

     

  • I served as a Ph.D. student representative for GlobeLife from August 2023 to June 2024. Before that, I served as an advisor for the GlobeLife student section for two years, in 2021 and 2022. GlobeLife is a collaboration in global health research and training between Karolinska Institutet and Uppsala University.

Research

  • My research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, digital health, and pharmacovigilance.
