About me
I am an epidemiologist with a clinical background in internal medicine. My research focuses on understanding temporal trends in health disparities and assessing the impact of legislation and societal events on LGBTQ+ individuals through causal inference methods. I aim to contribute to the development of public health policies that advance equality and well-being within the LGBTQ+ community.
My work leverages epidemiological tools and evidence synthesis methods—such as causal inference from observational data, meta-analysis, and systematic reviews—to address pressing public health challenges. I collaborate widely with statisticians, healthcare professionals, and sociologists, integrating diverse perspectives into complex health issues. I am also a strong advocate for open science and research reproducibility, as I believe these principles are fundamental to creating reliable and impactful health interventions.
