About me

  • My positions. I'm R and D Coordinator in the department of Nuclear Medicine and Medical Physics at the Karolinska University Hospital and an associated researcher in CLINTEC at KI.

My background. My doctorate was in theoretical physics (2003). After that I took an MSc in medical physics (2004) and completed the Basic Training for hospital physicists in the UK (2006). Since 2006, I've been employed in research related positions in hospitals or at universities.

My contacts. You can email me at the above KI address but I will respond more rapidly if you contact me at my hospital address

Research

  • My research has covered a broad range of experimental and theoretical topics in medical physics but with a strong focus on imaging. The work has lead to over 50 peer-reviewed journal publications and several patent applications. During my research and educational activities I've had the opportunity to work with clinical and research physicists, engineers, radiographers, radiologists, oncologists and IT specialists. I've supervised several students through their doctoral studies at KI and it is considered an important part of my role at Karolinska University Hospital.
