About me

  • After graduating from Lund University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Public Health, I worked as a research assistant with Planetary Health, a research group at Lund University. While there, I was able to apply my interest in the intersection of health and the environment and deepen my knowledge of environmental epidemiology. The importance of acknowledging the social determinants of health also guided my research and often led me to focus on environmental injustice. While my work mainly centered around ambient air pollution exposure, our group investigated the health impacts of noise, green space, heat, and the built environment. Branching out into these additional environmental exposures sparked my enthusiasm for questions of climate change and sustainability in relation to human, societal, and environmental health.

    I have recently started a new position at Karolinska Institutet and am excited to be involved in a diverse array of public health research topics and support the research process as a research coordinator, specializing in grant writing, at the Department of Global Public Health.
