Elisabeth Raschperger

I hold a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Karolinska Institutet (KI), awarded in 2006. My scientific background spans cell and molecular biology, vascular biology, and kidney anatomy and physiology, developed through many years of research at KI.

In 2015, I transitioned into laboratory leadership as Senior Lab Manager at the Integrated Cardio Metabolic Centre (ICMC), KI, where I built strong expertise in laboratory administration, regulatory compliance, and leadership.

Since 2020, I have been part of the Single Cell Core Facility at KI’s Flemingsberg Campus (SICOF), combining administrative responsibilities with hands‑on laboratory support for the core facility team.

From January 2022, I served as Manager of Neo at KI. Neo hosts a large share of the experimental research groups at the Flemingsberg Campus and provides advanced laboratory infrastructure in a modern, collaborative environment. In this role, I was responsible for strategic and operational management, including optimization of facilities and resource utilization, as well as coordination of support and service functions for the research groups in the building.

I am currently working full‑time at SICOF, where I continue to combine administrative leadership with active involvement in the laboratory team.
