About me
- My primary focus is on health system strengthening efforts, and I am dedicated to utilizing evidence-based research to drive policy improvements and enhance decision-making processes. With a keen interest in addressing global health challenges, I have actively engaged in research activities that contribute to the broader goal of fostering a healthier world.
One of my current endeavors involves being an integral part of the Changemaker EU-funded project centered on sustainable adolescent nutrition to reduce non-communicable diseases. The project is a collaboration between 13 parties based in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Kenya, and the US. In this role, I am immersed in conducting research and providing programmatic support, aiming to implement effective strategies that promote lasting improvements in adolescent health.
In addition to my work on adolescent nutrition, I am actively involved in another impactful project focusing on healthcare worker vaccine confidence in Nigeria. Collaborating closely with the University Hospital College Ibadan, this project is aimed at understanding and addressing the factors influencing vaccine confidence among healthcare workers.
Conducted my master's thesis on leveraging faith-leaders to address violence against women and girls in the Ethiopia context in collaboration with the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology.
