Domenico Scaramozzino

Born and raised structural engineer, and then fallen in love with the study of protein conformational dynamics. Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Structural Biology, with a special focus on the understanding of protein function and mechanisms through the sequence-structure-dynamics-function paradigm.

• 2026: OnkPat Blue-Sky Grant (300, 000 SEK) awarded from the KI OnkPat department to carry out, in collaboration with Dr. A. Tuval, the 1-year collaborative project “Uncovering the dynamic structure of pseudo-mutant p53 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia”.
• 2026: Travel Grant (incl. Digital Arrangements) to attend the 10^th Telluride Workshop on Coarse-Grained Modeling of Structure and Dynamics of Macromolecules.
• 2024: Wenner-Gren Stiftelserna Resestipendium, awarded to attend the 15^th European Biophysical Societies' Association (EBSA) Congress.

• 2024: MSCA Seal of Exellence - Awarded by the European Commission Horizon Europe for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship proposal submitted in 2023.
• 2022: Best Young Researcher Award - Awarded by the organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Computations for Science and Engineering (ICCSE2).
• 2018: Giorgio Dardanelli Award - Awarded by Alumni PoliTo, for the best grade in the 2017 MSc course in civil engineering.
