About me

  • I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Valencia, Spain, where I specialized in the fundamentals of human health. I subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences in Biomedicine at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. As part of my master’s thesis, I worked as an academic visiting researcher in the Translational Research Immunology Group at the University of Oxford.

I am currently working as a laboratory assistant in the Division of Transplantation Surgery at Karolinska Institutet, in collaboration with Sandra Lindstedt’s group at Lund University, where we are exploring novel strategies to improve organ viability prior to transplantation.

Research

  • I am passionate about pursuing a scientific career that bridges laboratory research and clinical application. My interests lie especially in immunology, particularly in the coordination and regulation of immune responses and the mechanisms of immune tolerance. My previous work in experimental and translational transplantation sparked a keen interest in how we can better understand cell communication and translate those insights into real-world therapies.
