About me

I have a master's degree in Medical Microbiology and obtained my PhD from Manipal University, India in 2015. I am a bacteriologist with extensive experience in phenotypic and genotypic characterization of bacterial pathogens of public health relevance. My research mainly focusses on: a) detection and characterization of resistance mechanisms among Gram negative bacilli ; b) Evaluation of novel antimicrobials and new diagnostic methods; c) antimicrobial combination testing.
