About me

  • I'm a PhD student in Kristina Gemzell Danielsson’s research group in reproductive medicine at Karolinska Institutet and a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. 

Research

  • My PhD projects focuses on identifying embryonic and endometrial factors that contribute to implantation, with the aim of improving assisted reproduction, associated gynecological diseases and fertility regulation. 

    Ongoing projects include:

    • SPACE: Understanding the physiology of endometrial regeneration and how it is affected in women with a thin endometrium.
    • PREG: Identifying non-invasive biomarkers for embryo quality selection in IVF.
    • SMILE: Identifying novel biomarkers for ectopic pregnancy to improve precision and enable early detection of the condition
    • Mife-50: Evaluating mifepristone as a once-a-week contraceptive pill.

Teaching

  • I regularly teach and examine medical student at the medical program at Karolinska Insitutet
