About me

  • -Consultant, Medical Oncologist, Thoracic Oncology Center, Theme Cancer, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden

Karolinska University Hospital has been my professional home since 2021, where I serve as a Medical Consultant, deeply immersed in the intricacies of oncology and clinical research. My tenure here, complemented by a concurrent PhD candidacy, has honed my acumen in academic writing and cancer research, leading to multiple publications in esteemed journals.

The intersection of my clinical expertise and research allows for innovative contributions to the field of medicine, particularly in the understanding of brain metastases. Our team's collaborative efforts have unveiled novel microRNA profiles, prognostic scores for lung cancer patients with CNS involvement with a view to advancing the frontier of targeted cancer therapies and enriching the scientific community's resources to combat this challenging disease.

In navigating the complexities of cancer treatment and research, Sir William Osler's words resonate: "Medicine is a science of uncertainty and an art of probability..."
