About me

  • I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM) under Lina M. Diaz-Gallo research team. My project focuses on the molecular and clinical heterogeneity of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE),  including childhood-onset SLE. I am to identify biologically and clinically meaningful patient subgroups based on autoantibody profiles and to explore how these groups differ at the genetic, proteomic, and cytokine levels.

I use statistical modelling and machine learning approaches to integrate diverse data types and uncover mechanisms underlying disease variability. Ultimately, my goal is to advance precision medicine in autoimmune diseases by developing data-driven, interpretable models that connect computational analysis with translational research.

Research

  • My research interests include bioinformatics, rheumatic diseases, immunology, genomics, proteomics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and precision and translational medicine.
