I am a medical doctor with a PhD degree from the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, currently working as a postdoc with focus on epidemiology of rare liver diseases.

Research
My PhD focused on prenatal and early life exposure to stress and its associations with autism and ADHD using Swedish population registers and Norwegian Mother, Father and Child Cohort Study (MoBa). The aim of my project was to disentangle the effects of unmeasured familial confounding by using family-based study designs. The dissertation can be found here.
Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Medicine Huddinge in Gastroenterology and Nutrition Unit (GUT)
on Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency leading to adverse liver outcomes.
