About me
I am a machine learning researcher at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on trustworthy and explainable AI for precision medicine and diagnostics. My work spans medical imaging and microscopy, movement analysis after ACL reconstruction, and climate-related infrastructure analytics.
Research
- Trustworthy and explainable machine learning; subject-aware cross-validation and leakage-safe evaluation
- Machine learning for rehabilitation and sports medicine (ACLR, biomechanics, EMG, digital movement biomarkers)
- Statistical methodology for validation of clinical AI systems and regulatory-aligned reporting (e.g. TRIPOD-AI)
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and LLM-based tools for clinical and social science data
