The CACTUS research meeting
On the 5-7 September 2016, the Division of Occupational Therapy held a research meeting where international researchers from Japan, Norway and United Kingdom were hosted by the research team CACTUS (Cognitive ACessibility and Technology Use when ageing in home and Society).
The meeting aimed to share recent advances in research on people with dementia and technology – reports from the researchers, discussions and planning further collaborations.
Participants from Kobe University, Kobe Design University, International University of Health and Welfare, Japan as well as guests from Oslo University, Norway and University of East Anglia, United Kingdom shared their experience in the field. The KI research group CACTUS, on their turn, presented a new tool KIREUM (The KI Rapid Ease of Use Mapping of technology) including practice (LN), a validation of Everyday Technology Use Questionnaire (ETUQ) and Management of Everyday Technology Assessment (META) .
