Our mission of the Centre for Malaria Research is to promote malaria research at Karolinska Institutet.
Visions
To create a platform to facilitate and communicate malaria research initiatives and achievements at KI To strengthen the role of KI as a research centre for malaria To coordinate efforts in advocating for and attracting research funding from national and international sources To promote existing and new research collaborations especially with institutions in malaria endemic countries To strengthen links and contributions to international institutions/initiatives (Global Malaria Programm/WHO, Worldwide Antimalarial Resistance Network/WWARN …) as well as national institutions/initiatives (Sisa, World Infections Fund/VIF, government, media …)
