Studies of families with hereditary prostate cancer

The data collected on these families is mainly used to identify chromosomal regions through linkage analyses where prostate cancer genes are located.

Project description

Since 1994 we have collected information and blood samples from families with at least three men affected with prostate cancer. Today we have over 120 families with extensive information on cancer, clinical characteristics of prostate cancer, tumor material and blood samples from over 600 family members.
