KBH relocates to BioClinicum
On 20 and 21 March, most of the laboratory research at the Department of Women's and Children's Health moved to the new building BioClinicum (U2).
The move to the top modern facilities means that the department will have direct access both to KI campus and to the New Karolinska University Hospital.
In January, the planned relocation to the new BioClinicum research facility was postponed due to network disruption. After an upgrade, the relocation has now been implemented.
The move will be carried out during two move periods. On 20 and 21 March, approximately 100 staff from three research teams moved into floors 6, 7, 9 and 10. The remaining researchers, some 700 in total working in five different fields, will relocate between 14-25 May. The new research facility will then be operational and open to staff, conference delegates and visitors
