Public health intervention and implementation research (2454)
The aim of the course is to give students knowledge in theory, method and practice in the field of public health intervention and implementation research. The content focuses on models and frameworks, core concepts and their interrelation, how to apply a theoretical perspective based in public health science, using relevant change theories, models of intervention and implementation programs in a multilevel perspective and the design of evaluation studies, application of ethics on specific subjects/areas of intervention, implementation and evaluation, systematic and critical appraisal of published intervention and implementation studies and dissemination of scientific results.
The course is 7,5 hp and this year 2013, the course runs from 28/10-26/11.
