
Social medicine, infectious diseases and migration (SIM)
The Social medicine, Infectious Diseases and Migration research group studies social determinants and consequences of disease, evaluates interventions to improve health care access and equity, assesses the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of screening programmes and determines health needs of migrants. The group is multidisciplinary and uses social epidemiology, qualitative methods, digital technology as well as health economy and implementation research methods.
