About KI-Finland Collaboration
Helsinki University is among the top international co-publishing institutions for Karolinska Institutet with around 350-400 copublications per year.
Karolinska Institutet and Helsinki University signed an instrument of cooperative planning in 2003. Between 2006 and 2013 Karolinska Institutet and Helsinki University ran a joint PhD programme together, which was then replaced by a short term exchange programme for doctoral students in 2013.
Karolinska Institutet has collaboration with several Finnish higher education institutions through the Nordplus Higher Education Programme, a mobility and network programme in the higher education sector, on bachelor and master levels, for the Nordic and Baltic countries.
