KI participated in the Times Higher Education Impact ranking 2021

Global goal no 3
SDG 3. Good Health and Well-being.

KI participated in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact ranking 2021, which aims to measure how Higher Education Institutions contribute to the Agenda 2030 and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main purpose of KI's participation was to identify any strengths and weaknesses at the university and to use the work process itself as a learning process.

KI chose to participate in the SDG 3 “Good health and well-being” ranking because that’s where KI has strong research, education and collaboration. 871 universities participated globally in SDG 3 and KI received ranking position 53. A result we can be satisfied with and use as a starting point for our continued work to contribute to sustainable development and health for all. Other universities from Sweden: Gothenburg University ranks 32 and Linné University ranks 301-400.

The ranking was carried out for the first time in 2019. Data from the ranking institute, THE, need to be purchased to get complete information on how the university has been assessed and compared on the various indicators and data.
