KI Alumni China Launch
On 22 January 2018, Karolinska Institutet celebrated the launch of the first global alumni chapter - KI Alumni China. Over 100 students, alumni, researchers and staff attended the event, which offered inspiration, networking, and an exclusive opportunity to meet Claire Ye, the KI Alumni China alumni ambassador.

Alumni Greetings from China
During the event, two films of alumni greetings from 18 members of KI Alumni China were shown. Ingemar Ernberg also read a congratulatory letter sent by Chen Zhu, one of Chinas most distinguished medical scientist, invented the total cure of one form of leukemia, and was Minister of Health between 2007-2013. He became an honorary doctor at KI in 2014.
The launch event will be led by Ingemar Ernberg, founder of KI China Faculty and Professor of Tumor Biology at Karolinska Institutet
