This year Karolinska Institutet is celebrating its bicentenary. The celebration will be marked by a large number of meetings, events and activities highlighting research and education.

Few people are blessed with genuine vision; the ability to foresee what will be important and successful in the future. Jöns Jacob Berzelius and Alfred Nobel are two people in the history of KI who had this very skill.
Knowledge exchange between KI and the health care
Karolinska Institutet and the Stockholm County Council are working together to ensure that clinical research is aligned with the long-term needs of the health care sector.
