About me

I am postdoctoral researcher at the Unit of Occupational Medicine. I have a PhD in Medical Sciences and my background is in Public Health and Sociology.

Research

My previous research focused on mental health and addiction, in particular on health inequalities and socioeconomic determinants of health and health behaviours.

During my PhD I analysed the impact of unemployment on alcohol consumption, and the differential impact of the Covid-19 lockdown measures on mental health depending on employment status and working conditions.

Currently, I am studying the impact of non-standard/precarious employment conditions on mental health using register data from the SWIP cohort, as well as the Swedish National Patient and and Prescribed Drug registers.
I have a strong interest for quantitative methods used in longitudinal research, such as cross-lagged or fixed-effects models.
