Election year at KI - everything you need to know
KI’s new organisation enters into force on 1 January 2019. Academic elections will play an important role in creating collegial influence at all levels of the new organisation. Both students and staff are eligible to nominate candidates. Take the opportunity to influence the choice of teacher representatives on the University Board of Karolinska Institutet, KI’s highest decision-making body.
Relocation during 2018
During 2018, 60 percent of Karolinska Institutet's personnel and about 80 percent of the experimental research labs will move to new or remodeled premises for research and education - Alfred Nobels Allé 8 (ANA 8) and Neo in Flemingsberg, and also Bioclinicum and Biomedicum in Solna.
KI Work Environment and Health Award 2018 - time to nominate your candidate
The Work Environment and Health Award has been established to stimulate improvements and innovations relating to efforts in the field of work environment and health. Co-workers and students at KI are invited to nominate candidates until 9 April 2018.
KI starts collaborative efforts
KI has started a number of Vinnova-financed joint projects with other Swedish higher education institutions, to improve the capacity to collaborate. According to Pro-Vice-Chancellor Karin Dahlman-Wright, collaboration is not an end in itself, but rather a means to strengthen the quality and relevance of research and education. “By working interdisciplinary, we are able to adopt new and exciting approaches,” she says.
