Outi Hovatta
Outi Hovatta is professor of obstetrics and gynecology, especially assisted conception. Her research entails in vitro fertilization and development of cell therapy for serious diseases.
The prize is Finlands largest award in medicine. In 1902 Johan Wilhelm Runeberg established the foundation.
