The research in paediatric surgery ranges from basal studies of genetic and molecular mechanisms behind malformations to clinical projects at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital. The overall aim of the research is to increase the knowledge about various conditions thus creating opportunities for more efficient treatments in the future.
