Air Quality and Noise
Good air quality refers to clean, unpolluted air outdoors and indoors, including occupational settings, and is essential to a healthy life. Outdoor air pollution is usually a complex mix of particles and gases, and the major local source in urban areas is traffic. People spend most of the time indoor where moisture, mold and chemicals emitted from building materials and furniture, but also outdoor pollutants and noise, can affect our well-being. At IMM research is performed to better understand how air quality and noise can affect people´s health.
